1000 Gifts in November 504-555

Here are a few more of our family pictures!  They were taken at a vineyard near our home here in California and I just LOVE how they turned out.

On another note, I interviewed for an RN position here.  It is a step down hospital for the geriatric population.  The initial interview went very well and I start training on Thursday.  It's a 5 minute drive from our house and they have short afternoon shifts that work out great for Ryan's work schedule and our childcare help with friends.

I'm really thrilled to get to use my nursing here in a professional sense and to continue on volunteering at Tree of Life.  Gideon and I have been memorizing Philippians 4:6 from a great kid's CD whenever we are in the car and it is so true for this season of life...

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Philippians 4:6

  1. Gideon is absolutely scrumptious. Love it! The scenery for the photos is divine. Glad to hear you are still doing nursing in spite of reclocating. Last i read you had stopped for awhile cause the night shifts were taking a bit of a toll on your health. It was nice checking in!! Take care of yourselves.

    1. You have such a good memory, Vee! You're right the night shifts were horrendous with an exclusively breast fed baby earlier this year. Now that he's older I'm so much more encouraged to be gone for longer chunks of time.
