Easter makes me glad for the hope of new life. For life, period! Jesus' perfect existence and radical death in our place promises redemption and fresh starts. The work of the cross seals our identity in the Lord and trashes our old sinful, ways.
Hallelujah am I glad for that because I am a hot mess 103% of the time.
I am grateful for the refreshment of being cleansed by Jesus' blood and the endless possibilities of beginnings anew today. Grateful this morning for the magnitude and mind-boggling grace of Easter.
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
