Woelbers

The Woelbers are in town!

Back in August I wrote about our new friends, Kyle and Tiffany, who could relate to all we experienced last year.  Kyle has Ulcerative Colitis and collectively they spent a solid month in hospitals last year dealing with GI horrible-ness and the hell that is IBD.  Tiffany is a wonderfully supportive wife and loves the Lord and Kyle battles his UC hardcore and praises Jesus doing it.

The best part is we had never met our friends until Tuesday when the arrived at DIA!  They live in Washington and we had only ever skyped them or talked on the phone.  A mutual friend here in Colorado shared Reaching For Fringe with them and connected us in the midst of our health battles.

It's a major blessing to find a couple who we love and has such a similar story and life experience as us!

Hanging out with the statues in Golden

We are thrilled they chose a week of their vacation in Golden, CO.  It is a blessing!  There are lots of fun plans in the works this week.
Tiffany and I ejoying sweet chai and good time together

SO far we have hung out at my favorite coffee shop, walked the shops and creek in Golden, adventured to Boulder for the Tea Tour and Pearl Street, bowled 6 games, and hung out tons.

And we had nachos at 9 pm last night.  They were delish.

More pictures to come!

Welcome Woelbers!!

    3. Loved the video--super impactful! We have dinner plans Friday night, maybe some time on the mountains or outside on Saturday and then Easter. Sunrise service for us at an outdoor amphitheater and time with each of our families. What do you all have planned?

    4. Oooh your church is in an amphitheater? That's neat. I am glad you liked the video! As for us for easter....we don't have much planned this year. I am hoping to go to my mother in laws for some yummy food. At church we will be having our first communion. Because we have been more of a baby church in the past years, we just never did it! Now with our church and the rate it has grown we really couldn't pass up doing communion! So I am excited. It's been so amazing to watch God build our church from the ground up! Seems like yesterday it was just my family and I. Well my dear, have a wonderful easter! Chat soon! :)

    1. Sara I love that you guys know baby Poppy now and can follow her story. Social media an amazing tool to connect us to one another. What a major resource, blessing, and cool way the Lord hooked you up. I'm praying for baby Grace and her heart every single day!
