A Word From M. T-Money

“Stay where you are.  Find your own Calcutta.  Find the sick, the suffering and the lonely right there where you are — in your own homes and in your own families, in your workplaces and in your schools. … You can find Calcutta all over the world, if you have the eyes to see. Everywhere, wherever you go, you find people who are unwanted, unloved, uncared for, just rejected by society — completely forgotten, completely left alone.”

- Blessed Mother Teresa

I just about can't handle how ripe with wisdom this quote is.  Are you challenged?  What does this mean for your life?

Good night she was a dangerous, unconventional, beautiful soul.

  1. Love, love, looooove this! So often we think, "Oh, if only I could live a life of radical faith and move to Calcutta, then I could really do something for the Kingdom." But we can do something radical right here, too. Thanks for the encouragement!

    1. Absolutely Beth. There is plently to do around us here in the USA. Though I still feel the itch to get out of America and into Africa or Asia or Latin America or...

  2. Very good quote! Often people use helping others as a cop out and neglect those right under there nose. Giving lame excuses like I give to charity or volunteer at a soup kitchen. Yet completely blind to the needs of their famoiy ,co workers and friends. So many people so many needs. The harvest is plentiful but laborers few!
