The Deckers Do Stuff

Just some pre-Christmas happenings!  Here is just a wee update to cover the bases...

Overload:  I have slammed you with pictures lately...sheesh!  I won't say "we're so busy" because I think that's an overused, empty statement but our lives have been very full and our calendars have revolved around many fun, meaningful activities.  Weddings, Christmas parties, family events, activities with friends...we are blessed.

Christmas: We are anticipating Christmas with our families-Eve with my family and Day with Ryan's.  My favorite part is the stockings and Ryan's is probably the food-ha!  What about you?

Staycation:  The few days after Christmas will be slow for us since Ryan's office has the week off.  We are planning a little staycation and you know you will hear about that soon.  On the agenda is snowshoeing at our favorite lake, ice castles, and movie marathons to start.  YES!  It is some much needed rest as we gear up for 2013 work and school.

Sinners: We have finally gotten our butts back to church on a regular basis.  Good thing Jesus doesn't judge us on our church going record!  It feels amazing to be in community with some sweet people and getting that rhythm back.  It is difficult and discouraging when your health won't even allow you to make it to a 2 hour service but we're persevering and looking at Life Groups to start soon.

Ok that should do it.
Here are some other shots from the last week or so...

Linny and I went for a wedding nail appointment in the blizzard on her wedding eve.  The snow was insane but the time together was so fun and the pedicures were very relaxing!

1 day before she became Mrs. Thunell!

Hello!

Let's just all take a moment to notice how completely out of this world and hardcore Ryan is!  As last week was wedding week, Ryan not only worked 10 and 11 hours days, but he also participated in my sister's wedding, helped set up, tear down, and was on his feet everyday of the week.  I don't even know a lot of people at 100% health who can do that.  Go husband!

Hey new brother and little sister!

Oh and here is Ryan working!  He, Marc and Jonathan met at our house for a meeting.  They worked hard.  And Ryan made us lunch-huevos with homemade green chile.
Ryan and mark obviously studying something with great attention.

Just one last shot of Linny and I at rehearsal dinner.  It was such a fun wedding-pictures to come!

[The Shepherds and the Angels] And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
