A Bachelorette Wine Tasting Party

It was a Bachelorette weekend! My sister-in-law Stacey's bach party was Saturday night.

My other sisters-in-law Anna and Megan plus Stacey's best friend, Arrissa and I hosted a Wine Tasting Bachelorette Party/Lingerie Shower.  I think wine tastings are the such a fun way to mingle, get to know others and enjoy a classy activity that's easy on your wallet.

There were various stations set up around our house for the tasting-on the buffet, kitchen bar, and coffee table.  Each had wine, appetizers, and personal charts to record things like body, finish, flavors, preferences etc.  This was a "blind" tasting so the bottles were bagged so you would not be able to tell one from the other and it showed us some new types of wine we all liked!

Our antique buffet served as a station for appetizers and wine

The glasses ready for some wine!

We filled out small cards for her "blessing hanger" that will be attached to the hanger of her wedding dress to encourage and support her!

Ryder was strapped to me via moby wrap and he liked being my wine tasting buddy

Stacey opening up some lingerie gifts and a few of the amazing women there to celebrate her!

These favors were adorable!  Anna dipped the ends of wine glasses into chalkboard paint and then wrote "thank you" in chalk on them.  They were filled with candy-adorable!

It was a fun night to celebrate Stacey and surround her with love, friends, delicious goodies, and gifts!  Happy Wedding Stace!

  2. I wish I could get a closer look at Anna's "Thank you" in chalk, Ryan and Carly. :) I also believe that one can enjoy a classy activity like wine tasting without spending too much money, especially if you're with your friends. The fun and excitement are all that matters, you know!
