Colorado is on Fire

Colorado is on fire.  Please pray!  We are safe and completely unaffected here in Golden but many Coloradans are not so blessed.  We have several friends who live in the Springs who are also safe which we are grateful for.

Can you imagine if your safety, home, family, and everything you knew what threatened?  I can't.  These cities are in desperate need of a miracle.

Pray for these fires to be controlled!  For an outpouring of RAIN over Colorado Springs and the other cities burning.   For decrease in 100+ F temperatures here in CO--the heat does not help.  For peace and comfort over the evacuated families.  And for strength, safety, wisdom, and protection over for those firefighters and workers who are working so hard to put these out.
When the poor and needy seek water,
    and there is none,
    and their tongue is parched with thirst,
I the Lord will answer them;
    I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

Isaiah 41:17

I'm so glad you're here!  I hope you're encouraged by what you read and spurred on to pursue the heart of God.  To make sure you don't miss anything join us over on the sidebar or add our button to your page.  Be blessed!

    1. Not sure I agree... The fires are going to leave nothing but burnt wreckage and destroyed homes, live and landmarks. The air is thick with pollution and there is so much danger in those enormous flames. I can appreciate the dangerous beauty we can see in these pictures but not much more. Appreciate your prayers Lori and that you stopped by.

  2. Lord,
    You made the world to need the waters of heaven. You made the world to need the waters of life. You are the source of rain. We ask you. Let it rain. In Jesus name Amen.

    May the Lord bless and keep your everyone SAFE in Colorado SPRINGS.

  3. I'm glad you guys are doing good in Golden. We have some friends near the Springs at the air force base (I believe that's where they are) and they were evacuated. Sad. Looks like this heat wave isn't going anywhere unfortunately, but God is bigger than a heat wave! Praying for you guys.
