$5 Coupon: iHerb

{I encourage you to head over here for a fabulous giveaway at Working Kansas Homemaker!!}

If you've followed our blog for any amount of time, you know we LOVE holistic, natural, and organic food and products.  Health is important to us because it promotes a high quality of life now and also allows us to steward the bodies that we've been entrusted with.  Who doesn't like to feel their very best?!  Plus, we think natural food is much more delicious and flavorful than the processed stuff ;)

But those organic, natural products can be expensive. And as much as we like them we really like saving money more!  I nearly keeled over when I first saw the price of environmentally friendly laundry detergent or organic apples a few years ago.  Sheesh-it's not always easy on the wallet.  You totally know what I'm talking about don't you?

It's been several years but I found a website awhile back called iherb.com that I order from monthly.  They offer discounted products and everything under the sun that you could possibly want!  I'm addicted.  Everything is fresh and totally new so it is just a genuinely good deal.

When we find a product or this case a website that we really dig I am all about sharing.  They sent us a $5 off coupon to all friends and family who want to use it.  Type: ZOT520 when you check out at iherb.com. So definitely take advantage of it!  I know we're not the only ones who like saving money.

I always find something that we need on their website at a discounted rate but I'll share my most frequently ordered products but there are many others:

1) Dr. Bronner's Soap-unscented and hemp

2) Barlean's products like Fish oil or Greens powder

You can order Kombucha, there too which is a fermented tea, that is so good for your belly's health!

iherb.com also has baking goodies, household items, beauty supplies and vitamins/supplements.  But lots more too!  Oh let me just warn you know that you will be addicted in no time but in the best way possible because it's all the good stuff you already need.  Enjoy!  Let me know what you order.

  1. I've never tried kombucha, or seen it around here. What does it taste like? I keep seeing posts about it, so I'm curious to try it now!

    1. It's a fermented tea and it tastes sort of cider-y, vinegary-y but sweet and depends on the flavor of the tea. We like ginger, guava, and cranberry! We love it for the good bacteria it has for our bellies and Ginger Kombucha always cures stomach aches for us. You should try it out!!

  3. This sounds really good, def will check out this website. Thank you for the coupon. We too are all about health. I have been a vegetarian since I was 4 years old . My mother is a raw eating foodie ( I am not there yet the most drastic I will ever do is probably vegan but not raw. ) Healthy , Organic , and all that is more expensive. We are really big on using household products that are safe for our indoor air quality too since we don't want to be breathing things that are dangers to our health. There are household products that claim to be "green" or "environment friendly" but still contain toxicity. Since Mr. T and I been married he has lost 25 lbs, not that he was fat but he ate a lot of processed " mess" before we wed.

    1. Kay that's awesome! I love finding fellow friends who like health and "green-ness". :) Well that website is where we get all our goodies from and I know I haven't even skimmed the surface of all they have. I'd love to see read about recipes or your experience with health someday!

  4. Yea for coupons! Just ordered some probiotics and sunscreen. Even without the coupon it would be cheaper to buy it from there than the store!
