10000 Reasons

We're listening to this song this morning.  Hope you enjoy--it is such a great reminder for us to Praise.

And this verse is written on our chalkboard fridge...

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faithbecause you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

1 Peter 5:6-10
I'm so glad you're here!  I hope you're encouraged by what you read and spurred on to pursue the heart of God.  To make sure you don't miss anything join us over on the sidebar or add our button to your page.  Be blessed!

  1. I love this song, although it always gets stuck in my head (which may be a good thing)!

    1. Ours too Nicole!! I am always singing it--mostly the chorus tho haha I WISH I could remember all the other amazing lyrics

  2. Love that verse from 1 Peter. My Mom told me once that she had heard the devil compared to "A Lion on the Discovery Channel" on Christian radio. The jist of it is, the devil is like a lion who doesn't go after the strong gazelle in the pack, it looks for the weak and sick one straying from the herd. Surround yourself in God's family of believers, and protect yourself with God's word to stay strong. :) Prayers for you and your family.

    1. Whoa Rachel that is SO true. A lion wouldn't attempt the strong and healthy-that would be a probable lose. But if we are disconnected, weak, or unhealthy in anyway we are easy prey. I'm so encouraged by 1 Peter to STAND FIRM IN OUR FAITH!!!

Thanks for your prayers, support, and sweet words!
