Our Easter Celebration

We had a full, wonderful Easter celebration!  How about?  How did you celebrate this weekend?

Thursday night we went to our first ever Seder Dinner with my staff team.  It was incredibly powerful to experience a tradition of our faith that Jesus himself would have participated in and has incredible meaning!  We both enjoyed this dinner and celebrating Easter like we never had before.  We plan to do it next year again!

Saturday we enjoyed Easter brunch with my family, hosted at our home.  We had Breakfast Casserole, fresh fruit salad (thanks mom!), biscuits, and bread pudding (a crock pot recipe from my mom).  A wonderful morning with the Nelson!  Pictures below...

Finally, on Sunday we went to church and went on to have Easter dinner with the Deckers.  We ate some wonderful food again and enjoyed quality time with family all weekend to celebrate the fantastic news of Jesus rising from the grave!

Our Easter table set for time with the Nelsons!  Easy table cloth, runner, and place settings

That watering can is dollar section of Target buy!  And a simple, pretty centerpiece.

Enjoying the flowery napkins and fancy silverware for this brunch

Ryan with his Easter "basket".  Full of goodies-bag clips, work gloves, peanut butter eggs and more!

My "basket"!  It has the BEST goodies in there-Aveeno products, dark chocolate almonds and other amazing treats.  Good job parents and thank you!!

Harpo with his Easter treat, a delicious chew bone that he thoroughly enjoyed.

Harpo the Easter Bunny! Hahahaha Poor guy.

We hope your Easter was fantastic-a day to embrace the cross and celebrate Jesus!  Now make sure you get rested up for the week ahead :)  Happy Sunday!
Yet it was the LORD’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and though the LORD makes his life an offering for sin,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.

Isaiah 53:10

I'm so glad you're here!  I hope you're encouraged by what you read and spurred on to pursue the heart of God.  To make sure you don't miss anything join us over on the sidebar or add our button to your page.  Be blessed!
