Hey Ryan and Carly,
You must be exhausted after the weeks of work you have already put into your new home. I know it will be wonderful when you move in and can relax a little.
Would you be interested in having me bring you dinner one night this week? I could either drop it by the office to Ryan or bring it by the house--whichever works for you. You probably don't have time for cooking!
So yesterday evening our dear friend Joyce brought us a FEAST, it truly was out of the category of just "dinner".
She brought us super tender brisket, cheesy broccoli casserole with breadcrumbs, twice baked potatoes, mandarin/bacon/feta salad, and blueberry/cranberry/white chocolate chips for dessert. Oh sweet Moses is was delicious. Ryan's quote summed it up:
"This is the best food in the WHOLE world!"
Joyce (and her cooking) just blessed us to the max yesterday! We really had no time to cook and she just took the burden right off of our shoulders.
Side note: We know Joyce because she is married to Ed, Healing Water's CEO, and if I can just say so they are NOT the typical CEO types. Maybe it's just me but I picture people in their positions as unapproachable or busy but these two are down-to-earth, tremendously loving, and filled with a heart to serve.
Just wanted to brag about how cool Joyce is and she has inspired future dinners that I bring to people with new babies, moving, experiencing loss, or just to bless them. She went all out for us in love and I'm excited to model this godly woman's heart.
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
