Oh for the Love of Spinach

Here's something you might not know about us Deckers...we LOVE food. Oh we love it deeply we do! The kitchen is by far the most used room in our little apartment. We spend a good amount of waking hours dreaming about delicious concoctions, some more healthy than others. So while food grabs our attention I hope this little recipe gets yours!

Cocoa Banana Spinach Smoothie

Step 1: Star with some dang good organic spinach like the kind from Costco!

Step 2: Dump about 1/2 cup of organic PLAIN yogurt right on top of those leafy greens

Step 3: Add a decent amount of almond milk 1/2 cup or so?
Step 4: Throw a real ripe banana into the mix along with a heaping pile of organic cocoa powder

Step 5: Blend it up in a dandy blender until you get something that look like this

Work with me here people, I know it's not gorgeous but be brave! It tastes spectacular and your body will thank you later for all that Vitamin A, floic acids, antioxidants and fiber. Take Ryan's word for it, you cannot taste the spinach at all. Fa rillz.

Um. Or you could get a husband who likes meat and make a bacon breakfast sandwich and do your best to redeem it with the greens.
